“I am a new freshman here, and after only three
weeks I already feel I’ve been away from home for
too long. It is very far away. I haven’t made any
good friends here yet and haven’t made much of
any connection with my hallmates. No one else
seems to miss home, and everyone here seems to
be loving it but me. All I can think of is that I want
to transfer to a college back home next year, but
I’m not sure if it’s worth it to give up a good Ivy
League education.”
